Here’s a situation. I upload albums to the server almost daily. To update the information, on the one hand, I have Plex scan the database (in 2 clicks, if I’m logged in) and then I have to have Serento update its database, but it takes me 5 (five) clicks to do this. I’ve already set the application to update its database daily at a certain time, but naturally, I want to enjoy the music immediately after I upload it to the server, not the next day. It’s clear that I don’t get tired of doing this, but I will apreciate if I will do this with fewer clicks.

Interesting need. Where do you think would be best for you to have a button to start a sync? Or do you want a different behaviour? I want to understand how you think Serento can improve your workflow.

On the Mac it makes sense since there is enough space there but I have to consider the iPhone as well and the iPhone is using all the space it has up there already. I will try to come up with a solution that works on all devices.

Today I notice that after I scanned the library with Plex, the new albums added on library can be discovered immediately on Serento. Well done, Lorin!
