It would be nice to be able to set the quality of the files to download when downloading to a device - while I want to stream my DSDs and 24/96 files on my Hi Fi, it’s space overkill for a walk down the road.
I’m caveating this with “I din’t think this is directly in scope for Serento” but I’ve pushed a similar suggestion to Simon, who develops MinimServer, as a change / enhancement to the MinimStreamer plugin to allow dynamic transcoding - if the app could tie up to dynamic transcoding for the downloaded files that would be great.
This is probably a “down the road” idea though - the use case is pretty niche!
