In just a matter of days we went from 1.0.4 to 1.0.7 and each version brought needed fixes for situations encountered on your environments which are sometimes hard to reproduce by myself because I don’t have 1 million songs in my library, or because I don’t have a specific old iPhone that has size and memory constraints. But nonetheless, I was able to quickly solve all of them and I feel I am now in a good position with the app. That means I can slow down a bit and implement all your wishes one by one.
Here’s what I fixed in these versions:
- The alphabetical index bar in folder browsing now works as expected.
- Fixed a freeze on iPad. Opening the actions panel with items selected could leave the app unresponsive until it was force quit.
- Very large libraries now get a startup screen while the app prepares them. A collection of over half a million tracks needs more than a moment after an update, and that work is now visible instead of looking like the app has stopped.
- Playlists created a while ago could show only some of their tracks, and reordering them did not work. Every track is back, and reordering works again. Reordering is also smoother on very large playlists.
