What’s next for me and Serento!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are enjoying version 1.1.0. I’ve worked extremely hard to bring you the new changes and fixes in exactly one week from the last update. I don’t know anyone out there working so much. And I’m just one person. No team, no huge budgets.

It’s an immense pleasure to work on this app since it’s everything I ever wanted in an app and my plans for it are huge, but more on that at a later time.

All this work has been exhausting. I’ve been working at least 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I think I had maybe 3 days off in total. 8 months of non stop working has drained my energy and I need to slow down a bit and recover.

On that note, in the next weeks I will focus on fixing urgent bugs (if any are found), helping you with your setup, answering questions, preparing for the Audio Show in Warsaw, Poland and preparing Serento for the iPhone Duo.

I’ve downloaded the developer tools for iPhone Duo and ran Serento on the simulator. Let’s just say that it needs a bit of work. Just like I was ready on day one for iOS 27, I want to be ready on day one for iPhone Duo.

Please keep posting your feedback and suggestions.

I will also try to rest more and at least take the weekends off.

Yours,

Lorin

Hi Lorin,

The latest update has made an already great app even better. Thank you for all your hard work. It’s nice to have someone design an app they actually want to use. Over the years I’ve had a few control apps and every one has had something that irritated me. Ironically the company which produced, what I thought, was the best app for their hardware went out of business (Auralic). Serento is much better.

Have a nice rest and enjoy the audio show.

Thanks

Agreed with @Gaz - It’s looking great. I think I’m seeing a few bugs dotted around, but I’ll post any up along with an impact note if I find niggles rather than serious issues.

I second (third, fourth?) what’s said here. Thoroughly enjoying using Serento. Rest up and pace yourself.
